We need volunteers...
We have many opportunities for you to get involved, even if you cannot be here on Thanksgiving Day. There are many tasks to accomplish before the day of the Celebration, and we welcome and appreciate your participation. We especially need volunteers on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving! We need your assistance with such tasks as: picking up and delivering items, setting up the facility, rounding up food and service donations, providing haircuts, greeting guests, and serving guests.
We are in need of food items including turkeys (Thursday Morning-see the page for details) and other goods, which may be dropped off Wednesday Night until 9:00pm.
Also, since it's a Community dinner. Come as one of our guests! We encourage all our volunteers to dine with the rest of our guests, so you can serve in one of the best ways, by being present and helping us build a caring community. Bring a smile to someone's Thanksgiving with your kindness.

Positions
Servers - Dish out food onto plates for waiters to distribute.
Pie Servers - Serve pies to guests - especially good for children to do.
Greeters - Greet and seat guests as they enter Civic Center to have dinner. Spanish helpful.
Hair Stylists - You DO NOT need to be licensed.
Clothing - Help keep clothing sorted and organized. Help guests "shop" for clothing.
Wednesday Night Setup - Help decorate and setup for Thanksgiving festivities.
Decorations - Help decorate and setup for Thanksgiving festivities.
Curb Runners - Pick up turkeys, pies, clothing from curb and run to kitchen or storage.
Cookie Baking and Distribution - Bring Homemade cookies to hand out to our young guests!
Post Production - Help "Wrap" the dinner, distribute leftovers, take down decorations, etc.
Thanks Yous - Address thank you cards to people and organizations that have helped with the dinner.
