The Celebration relies entirely on donations from the local community, primarily through participating churches.

Donations are collected at participating churches after Sunday services.
As we have some operating costs to cover, monetary donations are also appreciated. If you're able, you can stop by the Civic Center during the dinner and make a donation, or you may send a check payable to "VCF Westside", making sure to put "Westside Thanksgiving Dinner" in the memo field.

What We Need!

For Dinner:

  • 270 cooked turkeys...click here for more information.
  • 1000 boxes of Stovetop stuffing (turkey or chicken flavored).
  • 24 large cans of cranberry sauce.
  • 200 boxes of instant potatoes.
  • 1000 large cans of green beans.
  • 200 large cans of gravy (turkey or chicken flavored, preferably Campbell's).

We also need supplies of:

  • 6000 dinner napkins.
  • 9000 paper cups.
  • 4500 sturdy paper dinner plates.
  • 4500 paper dessert plates.
  • 1000 large cans of green beans.
  • New or used clothing.

Clothing (new or used - clean and in good condition) can be dropped off at the Civic Center on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
